Neue Leinwandarbeit fertig geworden
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008looking back to the satelite series ive did for the biennale in Shenzhen ill tend to break down my letters more and more recently into plain satellites.
ill started this canvas 3 years ago, and it took me almost 2 month in my studio to finish this baby up.
love and hate are sometimes so close together. iam kinda over with those hardcore detailed big canvases unless ill add a zero at the end or triple the first number.
no one told me 16 years ago that urban art will be so much work.
in anycase thats a keeper deluxe, for sale only in good and the right hands.
still thinking about a good title. it kinda represents the infinitive possibilties, movement, creative chaos, the joy of repeating yourself,….
Buchveröffentlichung: Interview in “Parallel Strokes”
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008during the prepartion for my first show in Los Angeles in 2003, ive became interviewed by Ian lynam in a near by donut place.
besides my Interview you will find other interesting statements and positions by fellow urban art collegs like Mike Giant, barry “twist” mcgee, my good friend Mirko Reisser (daim), my friend the founder of awr, msk, and seventh letter Eclipse, aswell as Jerry “joker” Inscoe, Delta from Amsterdam, and the cholo tagstyle legend Chaz bojorquez,……..
Leinwand Masterpiece/Schlüsselwerk nach 3 Jahren fast fertig
Monday, March 17th, 2008While everyone is focusing on prints and the secondary market, this rare huge Monster of canvas is now finally finished after 3 years.
My personal record in fighting with a painting in terms of size/action/details/time
Ill guess this one falls under the urban art categorie ” schluesselwerk”, or in other words, its a beautiful highly detailed accident.
Dont know ive it will end up in an auction, or ive i will stash it for someone special.
maybe its time think about some highclass prints.
iam still thinking about a name, “we`re having a party, my memories and me” vs ” the mother of all battles”. i open for suggestions…….
The good thing about doing commission/murals, there is usually a very healthy budget, the money is fast and easy, you can be someone else for a few hours, fool arround artisticly, have a laugh, learn a new approach on building up a painting, and get artistcly naughty and kinky besides your regular line of work as an artist. esspecially when you have a crazy client like this one here.
this atomic bomb mural is by the why the major wall of a living room.

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007English:
Here you have a little inside view of what happend during my 1 month invite to Guadalajara. Mexico.
Iwas invited there for a huge Graffiti and Streetart-Festival.
Someone more serious then me advised to absolutley not mention here all the decadent partys, crazy afterhours, scaringly huge amount of drugs ,the Mr.big´s and there Soldados, the big estates, police officers with black books, did i mentioned the police officers with the great connections to even more high quality… (biting my tounge now), oh yeah all the crazy super fresh/hot lookin chula sabrozas, Mami Lindas, emo bunnys, and crazy American locster who cant go back to the states for the next 13-20 years…
Instead my anonymous adivsor told i should focus on pointing out the great big hearts of the people ive met, which invited me, which i became friends with, and which embraced me into there family. Oops, iam almost sliding back into the whole Ubergangster talk.
And the amzaing character writers mexico, the best food in world, the fact that i had the chance to art direct and paint an early building of louis barragan with the local graffitikings.
Funny was although the situation where a certain entreprenuer was offering me seriously a Kilo of topnotch perico for painting a wall in his office.
Thanks: to Tekpatl/Vrs and cara for flying me in and taking care,
Redbull mexico for backing up my flight tickets, Nike.germany for the fresh gear.
Kenji, Erik and Matika for their Friendship, Tipex from Tribalgear Mexico for the good vibes, Hector Nagarro for the wonderful Photos, and Bernhard for the last minute support.
