The Title of the canvas is: “Love isnt Blind! Love see`s everything!”. In the eyes of Graffitiwriter it shows a classic “SEAK Letter style”: The “S”, the small “e”, a small “a”, and the “K”. But ive you look on the  deeper structures, and onto and into the context of my other canvases and of course this painting, the Title makes totally Sense.  Want something similar?!? you come to Hürth/ southside of cologne (Köln) and we talk.

The Trptchon on the card shows a SEAK lettering Style which flavored in favour of its new owner a infamous european multimedia Entrepreneur.

SEAK so: Die sind auf mich zugekommen, lief alles per Empfehlung über einen Kollegen aus Los Angeles.  Ein Homie von ihm aus New Jersey, macht die Karten, und für die 2. Edition wollten sie mich.

Herrausforderung: Wenns um etwas geht, wie ein besonders wichtiges Wandbild an einer besonderen Stelle/Lage, oder  besonders Hohenanspruch an bei einem neuen Bild auf Leinwand, gehe ich mittlerweile so vor..

SEAK Regel Nr.1: Fühle dich jetzt schon so, wie wenn du dich fühlen wirst, wenn du das erreichst hast was du willst.

Ive iam facing a special challenge, like a wallpainting at a very special spot, or ive wanna start a a large canvas which is important to me, my solution to get intop right state of thinking is:

SEAK`s Rule N0.1: feel yourself in the present moment like, you will feel in the future, when you reached your goal.

Aktuell: In diesem Fall eine richtig frischer neue Serie SEAK Leinwände, auf der Metaebene eine Bündelung mehrer Handlungsstränge.

In my actual case: i will use this rule to create a new series of SEAK canvases. One of my aims is to bundle different “storylines” on the metalevel to one solid Edition.

I love the harsh contrast between the painting and the raw signature tag.

Freiheit x Freedom by SEAK on canvas

Auch wenn es Wettertechnisch im Winter genauso viel Spass macht Wände zu bemalen wie im Sommer. Zur Zeit häufen sich die Leinwand Projekte immer mehr.

Auf diesem Photo ist die “Freiheit” Leinwand noch unfertig im Rohbau. Morgen geht es weiter, erst mit Sprühdose und dann später mit Pinsel, und Markern.

Des Teufels rechte Hand, beim auftragen der ersten Farbschicht.

Bei Leinwänden wo ich mit einem Wort als zentralen Bildelement arbeite, hat das meistens was von             Jedi Lichtschwerter bzw Samurai Schwerter bauen.

In Briketts investieren: 40cm x 210cm auf dicken Museumskeilrahmen aufgespannt

Spritztechnik. Der Lack trocknet auf dem gesprühten Hintergrund.

“Freiheit” ist das Konzept für diese Leinwand. Manchmal garnicht so einfach.

Die spritzige Handentspannung will erstmal in Ruhe eintrocknen. 

Die Grundstrukturen für “Freiheit” ziehe ich diesmal mit einem feinen Lackmarker vor.

Parallel zu meinen Wandbildern im öffentlichen Raum, arbeite ich seit Anfang der Neunziger auf Leinwand.

Iam working regulary in my style on canvas since the mid nineties. A mix of spraypaint, marker, fineliner, pens, and pencils.

Another Busy Week is over. The rainy weather is blockading me a little bit @ the Big Planet Mural in Cologne Bocklemuend, but i keep myself busy any how. Cutting a  few stencil for Bocklemuend aswell as the Rose Club Outside. My Homie Olli sended me fresh frontal pics of one my actual 2009 canvases.

The Berlin Newspaper “Berliner Zeitung” did a pretty personal feature about my background. at first i thought its maybe a bit too personal, considering the hiphop/graffiti/street/urban culture/ survival of he fittest subculture iam coming from. But fuck it.

Nike was sending me some love to have a proper start into this cold and dark time of the year. airforce1 premium. SInce there were talks at Nike to do a SEAK signature Sneaker, a Homie who back then worked for Nike brought me into the Friends for Nike Circle. Besides a few well known Artists friend of mine, there are although Folks like Harris, Sido, Oliver Korritke…..

Regarding the Berliner Zeitung article, i will try o get a English translation and post it soon.

In case you are in germany/switzerland or austria make sure to get a copy of the HipHip Magazine JUICE.

They did in there current monthly issue a large Interview with me. ( i will double check with them, maybe they are cool, and i can post a translation here too.

Felix from Over collectibles in New Jersey send me a mail, announcing that my collecors cards are ready to Ship. As soon as i have sample`s i will post them.

The canvas of the card is done in Bolzano Tirol Italy for a art collector, on a castle of the Mount Everst Climber Reinhold Messner.

About the BMW Mini Project here more soon in between the next days.

Life After painting the Thalys  (deutscher Text hier drunter)

Well, life goes on, have to get myself some good photos of it in traffic. Our Wholetrain will run at least 5 month in the system between Paris, Cologne (Köln), Brussels and Amsterdam. I am happy about any email with photos of it in traffic. Same goes for press articles and TV material, etc.

I think i am getting addicted to facebook comments and website hits these days. J niicce!!!

Anyway, so life goes on: Walls, Canvases, Outside, Inside, Exihibitions, Shows, travels, Projects, more Walls, more canvases, and Art Stunts like the Thalys gig every now and then, doing murals, receiving visitors, painting together, painting, painting.

For the upcoming week i will paint the Outside of the Rose Club. ( Nirwana, Bad Religion, and Mc Rene used to play there Back in the Days.)

So in case you are in town, I’m there. When i am finished with the Rose Club, there are already 2 more projects here in Cologne. One big one, a scuffolding for at least a week or two, and after this one a private house downtown.

Soooo, die Thalys Aktion gut verdaut?!? Macht euch bereit für eine Überraschung, das Leben geht weiter.

Unser Thalys Wholetrain wird wohl mindestens 5 Monate im Streckennetz zwischen Paris, Köln, Brüssel und Amsterdam auf der Schiene sein. Falls ihr ihn unterwegs mal vor die Linse bekommt, ich freue mich über jedes Bild. Das Selbe gilt für Zeitungsartikel, TV Mitschnitte, usw., immer her damit.

ach ja und so gehts weiter nach dem ganzen Hype:

Leinwände, Wände, drinnen, draussen, oben, unten, Austellungen, Projekte, noch mehr Stunts  á la Thalys, immer noch selber einkaufen gehen, noch mehr Wände, noch mehr Leinwände. That’s whats up.

Die kommende Woche bin ich wohl hauptsächlich an der Fassade am Rose Club aktiv. Über Besuch freu ich mich. Wenn ich mit dem Projekt am Rose Club fertig bin geht es im Kölner Westen aufs Gerüst für 1-2 Wochen……

Den Dom in der Hand, wir rocken: colognes finest

Ein Kunstfreund und Sammler aus Bayern war da und hat in Urban Art investiert. Kannte meine Arbeiten noch aus Hamburg und von der Schau die im Rahmen der Dokumenta 2001 statt gefunden hat.

Liebe auf den ersten Blick.  Bernd wird wohl in den nächsten 2 Wochen mit einem grösseren Wagen vorbei kommen und das Bild abholen.

Danach gings ins Vf Hauptquartier nach Ehrenfeld, bei Matze vorbei schauen, und jede Menge Support eingesackt.

Danach habe ich noch ein Teil der Dosen ( das ist kein normaler 6Pack sondern ist der Kölner Dom) die ich für die Thalys Aktion in Paris am Montag brauche abgeholt bzw abgestaubt. Dedicated to Cologne`s Finest quasi. Das Piece im Gare du Nord soll eine SEAK Style (Schriftzug) werden in den Farben von Köln.

I love painting canvases. A total different vibe then painting on walls, or sketching on paper.

DIfferent crowd, different audience, more money involved then painting directly on the wall surface. Different context, other opportunitys to break taboos. its something you define forever, great ways to create a tension and atmosphere. I used to collect nike sneakers, and limited edition toys so i can refeel myself into the collector and arthunters too. Premium Level. Like creating Jedi or Samurai Swords. See you in a thousand years.

Ein aufwendiger Farbverlauf, aus vielen verschiedenen Farben aufgenebelt und danach klarlackiert.

Pigments, Pigments, pure polvo. a 100percent. layer over layer over layer, and clearcoating it.

Ill started working on this leinwand (canvas) three years, so although Graffiti and Streetart Artists can take there time.

Iam craving for more kicks like i became by finishing this painting, so…..

Also das ganze jetzt mal so grob auf Deutsch. Ich habe mal wieder was ganz feines gesprüht und zwar auf Leinwand. Angefangen habe ich dieses Prachtexemplar vor 3 Jahren, frei nach dem Motto gutes will weile haben. (Danke für den guten Tip an dieser Stelle an Ross jr.)

Die Arbeit ist einer der seltenen die den kompletten Schriftzug (Style oder Piece) SEAK zeigt.

Kunstinteressierte die investieren wollen, sollten mir ein paar Gründe nennen warum sie es in ihrer Sammlung haben wollen. Ich entschuldige mich übrigens an dieser Stelle dafür das ich meine Seite in letzter Zeit nicht mehr so häufig upgedated habe. Ich hatte einige angwandte Auftragsanfragen denn Ich nachgehen wollte, sowie diverse freie Projekte.
